Layer views are a great way to present a hierarchy, such as a strategy, through objectives to projects. When combined with the display of relationships, the lay view provides a great start point for exploring and understanding the way that the strategy is being delivered through the related activities through the related activities.
Layer views can be displayed in a vertical layout or a horizontal layout depending on the requirements as shown below.
