A donut view is a great way of summarising and comparing items or groups of items in an easy and visually appealing way.
Donut views can only visually represent numeric attributes (including calculated values) and properties such as item count.
There are 2 types of donut chart that can be displayed:
- Main Chart – Shown above on the left. By default, the main chart will display individual items as donut segments grouped by category, with the total count of items displayed in the upper right corner. You can update this so that items are grouped by category or other attributes, and the Value can be set to any Numeric attribute or Property (such as relationship count).
- Secondary Chart – The secondary chart is only visible when a section of the main chart is selected. It will show the items that comprise the main chart section that is selected. A different numeric attribute can be visualised in the secondary chart compared to main chart if you wish.
